The Departmental Applications Analyst will provide essential support for reporting and departmental systems at UAH. This role is responsible for managing report generation and updates, performing administrative tasks across departmental applications, and serving as a backup support for the MACS system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable managing multiple systems in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and maintain reports in support of departmental operations and decision-making
Manage updates and troubleshooting for UAH departmental applications
Provide backup support for the MACS system, ensuring continuity of operations
Perform administrator-level functions across various departmental tools and platforms
Collaborate with internal teams to assess reporting needs and ensure data accuracy
Maintain documentation and system configuration for supported applications
Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant standards and policies
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in reporting and data analysis
Hands-on experience with Midas and MACS systems (or similar applications)
Familiarity with administrator tools and system configuration
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in working independently and managing multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a healthcare or academic environment
Working knowledge of SQL or reporting platforms
Experience with application support or IT administration
Certifications
None required; relevant IT or application certifications are a plus
