Job Summary
The Project Manager for Human Capital and Time Management Applications acts as a strategic liaison between IT and Human Resources, managing HR applications such as Workday, Kronos, and Health stream. This role ensures the smooth operation, strategic development, and continuous improvement of HR technology solutions aligned with organizational goals. Reporting to the Director, this individual drives complex IT projects, enhances digital HR systems, and fosters collaboration across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of HR applications including implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Lead strategic and operational planning for HR systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide digital initiatives.
  • Drive project execution for scheduling, timekeeping, credential management, and identity management systems.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and external vendors to deliver scalable, compliant solutions that meet business needs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for HRIS applications, particularly Workday, Kronos, and Healthstream.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, data analysis, and stakeholder communication across departments.
  • Guide a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to deliver high-quality applications and integrations.
  • Support the development and implementation of the Information Services Strategic Plan.
  • Lead software selection processes including RFP preparation and vendor evaluations.
  • Promote best practices across the organization and foster a culture of data-driven decision making.
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations and serve as an advocate for HR technologies and digital transformation.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology, focusing on HRIS systems and HR processes.
  • 3+ years of experience managing leadership-level relationships and leading IT project teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing HR tech initiatives in scheduling, timekeeping, credential tracking, and identity management.
  • Deep understanding of the ITIL framework and software delivery methodologies.
  • Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
  • Proven presentation skills with experience speaking to large groups.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday, Kronos, and Healthstream.
  • Experience in enterprise-level application integrations and HR technology transformations.
  • Familiarity with identity management and compliance in a healthcare environment.

Certifications (if any)
  • Certifications in Agile, PMP, or ITIL are highly desirable.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
