• Patient Assistance: Aid patients in and out of vehicles such as cars, taxis, ambulances, and helicopters. ?
• Safe Transfers: Lift and transfer patients between beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers, ensuring their comfort and safety during the process. ?
• Internal Transportation: Move patients to various departments, including operating rooms, diagnostic areas, and patient rooms, coordinating with medical staff to adhere to schedules. ?
• Equipment and Specimen Delivery: Transport medical equipment, laboratory specimens, supplies, and mail to designated areas within the facility. ?
• Deceased Patient Handling: Respectfully transport deceased patients to the mortuary, following established protocols. ?
• Sanitization: Maintain cleanliness of transport equipment and patient areas to uphold hygiene standards. ?
• Documentation: Accurately complete logs and records related to transport activities, ensuring compliance with hospital procedures.?

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. ?
• Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required; on-the-job training is often provided. ?

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.?
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and move patients safely.?
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.?
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
